Okay, so I watched Superman Returns and I want to know, did they just erase what happened in Superman III & IV? I’d understand if they did, because those movies were l-a-m-e, but it wasn’t very clear.

Okay, this was a too-subtle protest against disconnected logic and failure to fact-check. The Superman reference was just a parallel.
I got the disconnected logic part. . . on two levels.
