David,
Sounds like a great fortress.
I used to do that type of thing all the time as a kid, and it was always fun. Maybe your parents will let you sleep in your fortress!!! 🙂
That’s always fun.
with love,
Uncle Mark
We didn’t let David sleep in it because it was a school night and his fortress was in the family room, although we did offer that he reconstruct it in his room or in his bed using a different chair as the base.
I used to make “houses” out of blankets laid over card tables, using chairs for porch extensions, etc. – as did my kids. It was a great “rainy day” activity. But a “fortress” sounds a LOT more exciting than a silly, girly ole “house”!
